I am trying to decide if I should go for the set of 5 norh 4.0's or not and if they would be a upgrade from my current engergy take5 system... They are used almost exclusively for HT, and I could snatch them up hopefully for about 500 dollars, or should I think about upgrading my denon reciever...
Hey guys & gals, I am just getting back into the home theater game after being out of it for awhile, and am looking to make a few upgrades, with a small bugdet (will probably buy refurb or used)... my modest setup on the audio end is a relatively old now denon avr 3200, energy take 5 speaker...
here's a pic to my A/V rack (kinda messy right now heh)...a hakker.org/~peck/RECsmall.jpg .... as you can see, plenty of ventilation, atleast I think so.
Heat shouldn't be an issue, as the denon is on an open air A/V rack.... interesting about the sub being on a different circuit...I should plug it into a surge protector on a different wall outlet?
Thanks Bill, I just redid most of my speaker connections in the back...that might have been it.. I have bare connectiosn back there but I'm thinking I should convert to banana plugs...can't play the system at any loud level right now for the neighbors sake, but i will test tomorrow... as far as...
