If 12 guage is still hard to find, you could move to 14 guage. I don't think there would be much sacrifice in sound quality, especially for rear speakers, plus it tends to be easier to find. Just my 2 cents. Ben

I don't know much about SCART, but just FYI, the Yamaha RX-V640 does have composite video out to go to the TV (at least the picture of the back panel shows it). It's the very last composite connection on the bottom, it says "monitor out" next to it. You could use that if you can't use SCART. Ben
