I have done that I just think that you can hook the cue cat the way I did. I have a ps/2 cue cat that I bought a ps/2 to usb adapter and have it in the usb port. I dont have a ps/2 port on this laptop.

My laptop used to get pretty hot on the bottom. I opened it up and the fan for the processor wouldn't even move. When I hit the power button nothing I have a blank screen, no fans, the green power light comes on but nothing else. Does that help narrow it down to the processor
