This may be a sign of things to come (I hope). Looks like a new price point is emerging with titles from Echo Bridge selling for 2 for $6.00 on a corrugate/ pallet. I picked up a few and even though it is promoted as 2 for $6.00 (that's what the pallet skirt says) single units can be purchased...

Aaron, no doubt, it is a pain in the ass to dig through all of those discs in the bin. Even now, when I walk past it, I'll browse at what's sitting on top before I even consider digging. At this point in my DVD collecting (3,300 & counting) it's not worth the trouble. I was at a Wal-Mart in...

It's disapointing to see that a lot less folks are posting here. Please if you see any DVDs priced $5.50 or less (at Wal-Mart or anywhere else), let's get 'em up in this thread!

I used to work at MGM. I pushed HARD to get Zappped released on DVD, problem was, MGM had lost the master. I then went on a search to find a 35mm print of the film to see if they could strike a master from that. I found one, but was told that that would not work and that they needed a negative...
I grabbed about 5 of the Paramount $4.88 DVDs (I was going to list them but the link above shows them all) + WB has a pallet of DVDs up for $3.88! The only one I did not have that I bought was "The Right Stuff" (Dennis Quaid, Ed Harris, Scott Glenn) (STD Edition 16x9 WS). They also had...
My suggestion to all is if you want to see a movie on DVD, tell the managers of the stores where you shop. If it is an online retailer, email the company. They should listen and pass that information up the ladder.
Thought I would chime in... I work in sales for one of the major studios. I am always fighting with my company to dig deep into their catalog and put out either the "cult" films, "noir" or "classics". The challenge is not so much trying to convince the studios to do this, but the buyers...
