I have a Polk sub which is decent but not too impressive with LFE. If I could do it again I would go with the SVS.

Novalux does have a display at CES according to thier home page so maybe we will hear something about it there.

I finally saw a few ps3's at target and CC. People have been posting for awhile about them being in stock and there have been none in this area until today. I guess we will see if it stays that way. The quality of the grafix for launch games on the ps3 should be better then 360 if all the hype...

I am sure the PS3 will sell out without any advertising, but I still expect to see advertising to draw customers into the store so they can sell them something else when the ps3 is not available.

My local Target has started advertising for the PS3 and the WII. They have cleared out some ps2 and gamecube space to put in large signs for each next gen system stating "coming in Nov".

Too bad about the projector I am upgrading and in the market, I have 10k for projector, screen, pre amp and amp. I was also looking into speakers since I demoed the maggies 3.6 at my dealer. I don't know if i would be disappointed in the lower models or not.

You need to have a big garage sale to help fund and clear out the new home theater.

I would go with about 18in above ear height. If it is set right at ear height than the people sitting in the middle do not get very good sound since it is being blocked by the people on either side.

For the electronics I don't care that much, you can hide them in a rack. My speakers are what I want to look good.

DVD's are not exactly high def They are only 480P if they had a 1080i/p or 720p source in the store it will definitely be a better picture. You should try to set it up with some HD sources with an over the air HD antenna or through your cable/satellite company.

I would go with 6.1 at least and probably the 7.1 so you already have it set up for future upgrades.

Looking good Steve, how many hours a day do you put into the theater? It looks to be coming along very quickly.
