After the terrible Fox Lober release (the first one that you refer to), the Wellspring (Masterworks Edition) DVD is a Godsend. It even has a restoration demo: I don't know of any other future releases of Ran so pick it up!:emoji_thumbsup:

Heh, you're right, on closer inspection that is Chinese. Traditional it looks like, but I could be wrong. I guess I just assumed it was Japanese considering the Vol. 1 teaser poster had the Japanese characters for "Ki-ru Bi-ru" in the background.
