Actually, this information has been on the site all along (it applied to all of Warnershops products)...and when you click on the films it still says "Ships to US destinations only..." Well, I can wait...;)

Well, yes, it does...living in a country where a lot of people won't buy dvds unless they have subtitles, I didn't even notice them as I watched that initially...but yes, they were forced :-(

It's comforting to know, while waiting for the Warner Archive to open to us Europeans, that some films just getting their DVD release in the States, have already been issued here. Lonely Are the Brave is one such film (a fine French release), while all the films on the upcoming Jack Lemmon...

As I already found about half a dozen titles I would purchase in flash, I can't but hope this will become true SOON! If it isn't already...

I don't know if is of any interest to you, but I just bought a Falcon box set here in Finland. It contains the first nine films of the series. The soundtrack is in original English with Finnish subtitles. Haven't had time to look at it yet, though, so i can't comment on the picture quality...

It says "Anamorphic" at axelmusic.com for both Guns at batasi and These Thousand Hills (a film I'm looking to get). However, no mention of aspect ratio. But then again, whoever heard of anamorphic pan&scan...?:wink:

Clambake is out in an anamorphic transfer in R2: it's much better than the R1 version.
