    Heathers: 20th Anniversary Blu-ray - image problems?

I'm pretty impressed by the new transfer on the Blu-Ray. The colors are much stronger than anticipated. I've seen this film countless times on VHS, Laserdisc and the earlier DVDs. It feels much less hazy and I'm noticing greater detail. However, I've noticed a slight jitter or flutter to the...

DEMONS 2 - Anyone else have playback problems?

I picked up both Demons and Demons 2 last week. It felt great finally getting 16X9 upgrades. Unfortunately, I experienced playback issues with Demons 2. Halfway through the film, during chapter 12 (the garage melee) the picture froze and staggered and could not be fixed without going past the...

    Small but Powerful subs?

I'm currently setting up a small room for primarily music listening. I'll have CD, SACD, DVD-A, Sirius, and a turntable. I have everything set-up including speakers and receiver, but right now I'm looking for a small subwoofer that works well for 5.1 music, but won't overpower the room, or click...

    Pioneer and SACD

I currently use a Pioneer SACD/DVD-A player through a Sony 6.1 receiver. I've been considering lately to upgrade to a new Pioneer or Pioneer elite receiver, but I took a look at one and could not spot the multichannel inputs for SACD. Do Pioneer receivers even support SACD playback?

I've just picked up some recent releases like Oliver Stone's ALEXANDER and the Steve McQueen Box Set and, besides being excellent discs, I'm absolutely knocked out by the work that went into their packaging. The original artwork for...

    SACDs and subwoofers

Newbie here, I have a small room in my home that I've decided to devote to the new Sony 400 DVD/SACD/DVDA player. It'll strictly be used for music. I'm looking for a small subwooofer that won't overwhelm my room for under $200. Any suggestions? Thanks.
