Wayde, What kind of equipment do you run? I've learned a lot from this thread and am now curious to see what "budget" equipment compares to the high dollar audiohpile stuff. Or maybe that's a different thread?

I still want to hear about what equipment the skeptics are running. It would be a good use for those of us just getting into the hobby and who aren't swayed by $1000 dollar interconnects or "jitter free" CD players.

My TV doesn't have component in. It only has SVideo. That's why I was going to run it through my receiver.

No my surrounds are direct. The center will easily fit above the TV no problems there. Ok another question - I know the fronts have to be "toed in" to angle toward the listening area. Do the backs need to be toed in too or do they just face straight ahead?
