I went the complete opposite route. I got a receiver that i will keep for a long time and is most anything i would need and have my speakers be upgradeable but i am seriuously fine with these they sound a lot better than you prolly think they do.
consider SVS or HSU, ( i said it before anyone else in here could nyaaaa :P ) but if its between those 2 i have heard both and go with the Velodyne. Its slightly cleaner sound, the klipsch is more of a Thud
i am wiring up all my speakers but i can't tell which to attach my 2 surround back speakers ( 7.1 ) on the receiver. Du i connect them to the Surr.Back / Multizone speaker connections or do i use Surround B connections?? If I do use the srround back/ multizone connections then wtf are the...

WEll the box for those is freakin big. Its like 4 feet tall by 2 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet deep. When i got it ihad to move it aroud on a luggage dolly. And i agree with Gene C about the onkyo systems being impossible to beat for under $200...
I have that set actually. frys had them on for $179.99 here once when they had a 100 instant rebate. They work great ( absolutely terrific for the pricee ) i purchased another surround back speaker from onkyo direct to make it a 7.1. To set them up with my new denon 3805 and everything runs...
i was fixing to order a new 20-39 plus but then i ran accross a guy selling a Klipsch RSW-15 for the same price. I never heard the 20-39 plus but i have heard the Klipsch and know that thing can seiously pound. what should i do??
I have an Onkyo SKS-HT510 6.1 set ( got it for $180 at a frys deal and i had an earlier set of these and for the price they are great. ) with an extra back surround that i ordered. IT says that the Maximum input power is 100w. If i got a receiver that was 110 or 120w per channel would that blow...
