I don't know about high-definition, but I've been very happy with the DIVX movies I've bought. You can't beat the price, and who wants to see the same movie over and over anyway? Once or twice is enough for me. Thinks it's a darn good deal, and they've gotten a bum rap.
I don't agree with this assessment. I've seen very good results from this type of 3D--frankly they all give me headaches, but there's nothing inherently worse about red/blue 3D.
Hmm. Even at a buck, that's a buck too much, in my opinion. The quality of these is terrible, usually, so why would anyone want to sully their collection?? Sometimes a buck can be the most costly price.
Hey, I like Blockbuster. Often have the best selection in my area, the employees are friendly, and I don't have to worry about my kids bumping into the 'adult' section.
