    Component switch box question

Anyone have any experience with the JVC JXS111 HD Compatible Component Video Switcher? It's at Amazon and is cheap enough. Also, is signal degradation inevitable? Would I be better off just manually switching the cable when going from the tv box to my dvd player?

Noticeable difference between component and digital connection on a LCD fp?

I would think the obvious answer is yes with LCD having fixed pixels, but is it a huge difference? I have a native 720p projector and viewing DVDs over component look drab (colors seem washed out) and lack detail...with the same picture settings, HDTV looks amazing with really vibrant colors and...

You have $3000 to spend on a display...what do you buy?

You know, now that I think about it, another RP might not be a good idea. I just got out of college and will be moving around a lot, so I need something that isn't going to be a hassle to move. You have $3000 to spend on a display...what do you buy?

First I was thinking about going with a 42" ED plasma, then I got into FP and the new ae700u from Panny looks nice, and now I'm seeing that the 65" rp mits are selling...

    When getting repairs...

Do I have any other options besides the closest authorized service centers suggested by Panasonic's website? Or do I just have to put my trust into whichever one I decide to call? (I'm getting the lenticular screen replaced)

Great...the people who clean my house scratched the tv

It's a Panasonic PT-47px49...I think that's the model number. Not sure about the last two digits. Anyway, I'm 99% sure it was done with the vacuum cleaner handle. I looked at Panasonic's replacement parts site and it's going to cost around $140 + install for the lenticular screen. Now the...

Best way to apply cleaning solution to screen?

I just bought some of this Screen Kleen stuff for my rp hdtv. It says it's ok to just spray it right on. Would it be best to spray it on the microfiber cloth first? I don't know if I'd be comfortable spraying it directly onto the screen.
