Any thoughts on refurbed speakers- pro or con? I'm looking at some JBL Northridge E100s for about $580 shipping included. This is about the same price as a pair of new E90s. I was wondering if there are any inherent problems with refurbs. Thanks!

I am ordering an svs next Friday (yehaa!) and I am looking at placement. I have a nice corner where I would like to put it. However, it will only be about 18 inches away from my JBL e90 mains. Is this proximity likely to cause any problems? My only other option is to place the sub along the side...
