I have my system set up in a basement. Its not bad upstairs with the mains fairly loud (I do know there on though). But I just bought a sub finally, and hooked up my in-walls. I'm looking for any ideas to help me keep the volume as high as I can with out the rest of the house knowing it. :D...
The polks are nice, for rears (they are in-walls), and actually are surprising when I hooked them up as mains just to play. The polk center sounds good for the $60 I wound up paying for it at the time, but its old now and not exactly high end. After I get a sub, I will probably replace the polk...

Polk has a few I have rc55i's that I use for my rears. Buy they did surprise me when i hooked them up as mains to test them! They have aimable tweeters too.
I have to go listen to the jbl, I went to best buy to listen to the athena, the halfassed way they have there stuff set up made it pretty much useless.. Have to say the athena bookshelfs sounded real good though.

I have the 36FV310 and I have seen no Tube look as good with a dvd, or especially cable, though my dvd is no progressive scan... What are you actually viewing when you compare the two?
