You ONLY listened to the dub track? That's it, I'm not paying attention to anymore of your "reviews".
I'll be importing this and saying a huge FUCK YOU MIRAMAXE. Hopefully a Blu-ray released in Hong Kong will actually have the original MANDARIN track in lossless audio instead of the damn...
I'll say it again, I'm not much of a fan of John Wayne and I'm highly disappointed that ANOTHER Wayne film is out on Blu-ray instead of Warners older catalog titles. And they also released Catwoman.
Why not Singin' in the Rain, The Maltese Falcon, Captain Blood, The Sea Hawk, The Treasure of the...
Do John Waynes characters ever die in any of his movies? If so, can someone send me a PM as to what they are?
Warner Brothers has far too many of John Waynes movies on Blu-ray anyway. Why not another Humphrey Bogart? Yes, yes, John Wayne is the greatest actor EVER in the multi-verse...
This is...
I most certainly hope Léon will contain the isolated score in lossless audio.
The 133m Version Integrale Cut is the version I VASTLY prefer instead of the inferior 110m cut. That, and I'm fans of Jean Reno, Gary Oldman and even Natalie Portman. Let's not forget Danny Aiello either...
If I ever get any of these Digital Copy things, I'll sell the disc and code to anyone, except automatically Utah, for $5 each. Soon as I get them, if I get them in the future, I'll list them in the FS Software part of the forum.

I was just goofing around Mr. Epstein. If you'd like me to edit my post to be more suitable for goofing around just tell me.
I'd still like for the members who're not from the USA or Canada to help chime in on this thread. Including those who import. Do you also import Mr. Epstein? Get freaked...
Thanks Simon! I figure I'll order it with a couple UK Blu-ray titles, ones without regional coding onnit.
I've been attempting to hunt down the Sanctuary Special Edition DVD of THE BOUNTY for a few years now. Nobody seems to carry it in stock and it's been drving me nuts not owning it. I'm just...
What could be possible and actually very cool, is to release both GHOSTBUSTERS and GHOSTBUSTERS 2 in individual GREEN Blu-ray cases to emulate green slime. Even be nice if 2 actually got the same amount of special features 1 has.
Man, I jumped on buying both BRAVEHEART and GLADIATOR from Best Buy for $17.99 each. Personally I consider myself more obligated to inform Paramount/Universal/DreamWorks about this fiasco since I did purchase this title fully knowing about the PQ fiasco. Guess it gives me more leverage as a...
Would it be wrong to assume Criterion would release Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas onto Blu-ray disc? I'm considering they have high chances they would release it in the future along with a wave of other titles. Perhaps Brazil, Charade and a few others?

To compliment Brandon Conway's thorough work on the USA only thread (Shouldn't it also include Canada?), I'm making an alternate thread for those who'd like to keep track of releases of titles on Blu-ray of which are before the 1990's. Hopefully I'll keep track of all the various titles! There...
I agree too. A Director can approve of a transfer but it's also down to the encoding to be on disc. Such as for example the raw transfer could've had all the film grain retained with nary any DNR/EE/Jaggies-on-location-titles. I think it's just a botched encode with settings clicked on which...
Well if Charlie tells Rid and he raises hell about this, demands Universal to provide a new transfer to Paramount supervised by him, a free disc exchange/replacement program, I'm all for it. It's the main reason why I bought the Blu-ray disc release in the first place. I still own both the...
I remember my friends Dad as a kid had a Laserdisc player and that's where I first saw a movie being projected, his Dad had a huge as a kid floor projector in their movie room, in the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio. I think it was Enter the Dragon or a war movie. Of course as a kid in the late...
I'd much rather have the original 2.0 audio in lossless compared to a fake 5.1 bump remix. Same goes for JAWS with the dual mono track when it gets released onto Blu in 2010. It's the films 35th Anniversary of course. Only reason why I bought the 30th Anniversary DVD was because of the original...
How many sides was it? CAV or CLV? $39.99? Letterbox?
Those damn Laserdiscs were huge when I was younger. I never really had any. Just was VHS to DVD to HDDVD to Blu-ray disc. Of course I still buy all of the last three and zero VHS.
If I could afford it, I'd buy one of the absolute best LD...
Universal USA has the rights to the US Theatrical and Directors Cut only. FOX Europe has the rights for the European Cut. No idea if Universal would go through the motions of negotiating for the European cut. Yeah I've been wanting to import the European Cut on DVD for awhile.
I'd purchase this on Blu-ray. Been a long while since I've seen this. RIP Robert Wise.
Here's hoping if Universal does decide to release a 35th Anniversary, it'll be day/date DVD and Blu-ray.
EDIT: I'm gfonna check online to see if the Laserdisc had any extras which could be ported for a new...
