I have a 42" Panasonic ED plasma. My Dish 811 HDTV receiver puts out 480P, 720P, and 1080i - 720P isn't viewable, but the 480p and 1080i are. Since the plasma isn't technically capable of displaying 1080i, I'm wondering how I can view 1080i and why, it seems, looks better than 480p -...
When watching regular TV (through DTV) what audio mode should I use? There are Dolby PL II Cinema, Neo, Emulation modes. Does DTV send signals down in 5.1 or is that just HDTV signals? I'm assuming if the audio coming from DTV is 2 channel I should use one of the NEO modes? Thanks.
I recently purchased a Panasonic 42" ED plasma - I viewed the same HD source simultaneously on both the ED and HD models and couldn't justify the $2k difference in price. So... I have a Denon 3803 feeding the plasma via component - it's in another room and I am using the video switching...

I'm the proud new owner of my very own plasma - it's mounted on the wall with the front and center channel speakers surrounding it. I'm not in a position to route the cables through the wall (I rent) - so I'm thinking of just running the spkr and source cables down the wall to the floorboard in...
Hello, I want to split the audio signal coming from my DTV box to go into my Denon 3803 and my Panasonic plasma. Reason being, I'd like to just turn on the tv and watch the news and not have the whole system running. Is it as simple as getting a rca splitter and splitting the DTV output or...
