I know a lot of people are very happy that you're here again, myself included.
So...
Does Kino's deal with MGM/UA include blu Rays of the second Hammer Quatermass film or 1958's The Vikings?
Thank you,
Michael Sloan
Mister Lime,
Does Olive Films have any plans to release any Republic serial on DVD or blu ray in the
future? Wouldn't "Adventures of Captain Marvel" having been released on DVD by
Artisan warrant Olive Films making it commercially available again and perhaps finally
releasing in the picture...
I'm quite fond of this show. Frankly I think it's not too late for another season. They could say the Tunnel was shut down for 45 years and Tony and Doug were stranded somewhere in history until someone decided to start it up again, or they could just recast everyone like JJ Abrams has done with...
I also agree, that Psycho II deserves the Scream Factory treatment, BUT, I actually thought Psycho IV was better than II(II was still pretty good, though) and I'd like to see IV get that treatment. If I had to choose which of those would be blessed with a special edition, I don't think I could...
Richard,
Yes, the Waterloo with Steiger.
The Dark Sky release of Franco's Dracula is fine, but it would be nice if either they or Olive Films released it on blu ray. Olive Films usually releases their titles on blu ray.
Cliff,
I'm really looking forward to getting the SciFi Classics trible bill. Are there anymore early Corman directed features in the works, and have you had any luck with Susan Hart?
Will an HD-DVD Player work on a tv that isn't HD? Will a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound System which works on a non HD tv and a non HD DVD player work on an HD-DVD player?
It would be intersting to see alternate-language versions of other Charlie Chan films in future volumes, but not if it would mean not making other special features.
Does anyone know if "You Are There" (1953) still exists? I've read some early television no longer exist because they were filmed and broadcast live and never recorded. If that's the case is there any chance "You Are There" and BBC's 1949 "The Time Machine" still exist. I'd really like those to...
At Universal Studios Florida, they do show a clip of Dial M For Murder in 3D as a part of their Hitchcock attraction. That's about it, as far as I know. Jason This is a little off topic, but I think the Hitchcock Atttraction in Florida is gone.
I still don't understandtand that "midgets in our future" thing. Am I the midget? Did the Warner Brothers studio insult me or does that mean something else a quote from a movie or something? Can someone please answer me?
I realize June 7 is the release date of the 1990's live action series, but the cover art shown in the Wal-Mart flyer is defienitely George Reeves. It has a color picture of George Reeves as Superman second from the top right on page 14 left of Chappelle's Show Season 2(uncensored- the only way I...
It's a little off topic here, but I can't think of a more appropriate existing thread for it: I've the idea in my head for a few days now that it would be nice to have "San Francisco"(1936) theatrically rereleased in 2006 before it hits DVD.
There certainly are better filmmakers. I hope somebody makes it. I want Flash Gordon merchandise and When Worlds Collide 1951 to get the same treatment as War of the Worlds.:D Mind you, if those were made without remakes being produced I couldn't care less.
Comingsoon.net said on April 6 that he was working on a Flash Gordon remake but on the 11 Comingsoon.net said he's writing a remake of When Worlds Collide. Is he still remaking Flash Gordon? Not every remake is a good idea but some Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon merchandise would be nice as would...
Someone needs to put "The Shadow"(1940) and both Green Hornets on DVD. Does anyone know if Serial Sqaudron's "Holt of the Secret Service" DVD is better then VCI's?
