Will this support and kind of HDTV?

What about 480p? Even that would be great. I called Mitsubishi, and they said that the monitor supports 800x600 with a scan rate of 15-37khz. Also I can get my hands on a PVM-3230 that has 650TV lines of resolution. Would this be a better choice? -Ryan

Will this support and kind of HDTV?

I'm trying to set up a basic home theater in my basement, and I am using a Mitsubishi XC3710U Monitor for my display needs. I aquired this monitor through a government auction, and up until recently have just used it for composite display. Well last night I discovered that it has green sync RGB...

I have a pair of OLD Bozak Speakers (I think they are from between 60's to late 70's). I want to upgrade them. They have 12" woofers, 4" midranges, and 1" dome tweeters. I'm very new to DIY and home theater in general. What can I do do improve upgrade these speakers? -Ryan

    Home Theater Setup ?s

Dont think projector will be a possibility because it is in the living/family room, and there will always be light in there. Plus people walk around the room a lot. I like the direct view because it just fits more of a family room setting than a RPTV. I would like the sony 40", but it's just a...

    Home Theater Setup ?s

I think I will probably go with the Yamaha 1400 because it also does comppnent upconversion. Also I believe I will get the Toshiba 36" because I think it will look better and fit better in the room I will be putting it in. Also I don't want to have to constantly be attentive to burn in issues. I...

    Home Theater Setup ?s

Ok I just was going to get the toshiba 36" because I dont want burn-in from the xbox games and a lot of 4:3 tv/dvd show usage. Other than the burn in issue I definitely have room for a RPTV. All I want is HDTV. As far as the receiver, I would think about a lower end unit such as the 1803, 1804...

    Home Theater Setup ?s

Well I was looking at those receivers because they do component video upconversion. I really only want one set of component cables going to the TV set. It would be really nice to just set it on one input for the TV and do all of the switching on the receiver.

    Home Theater Setup ?s

I'm looking into putting together a home theater setup. I will be using it for 35% XBox, 35% TV, 30% DVD Movies/Shows/Concerts. Here are my ideas: TV -Toshiba 36" HDTV 4:3 CRT Receiver -Yamaha RX-V2400 -Denon 3803 (If I can get near the $700 for the Yamaha) CD Player -Denon DCM-280...
