My copies of Aliens and True Lies arrived today (Abyss should be tomorrow). I don't know why, but I just love that the spines of these releases have the "20th Century Studios" logo and not Fox.
It kinda sounds like she’s working on something to pitch to Disney/Lucasfilm. They have five films in development now, not counting Rogue Squadron. (The Rey movie, the Mandalorian, Lando, the Mangold film, and the Filoni movie.) Unless they are planning into the 2030s, I just don’t see it.
Wow, that’s four and a half years between films. That’s a long time to keep your audience invested.
It probably also delays Warner’s other Batman project.
They undoubtedly had lines written for him and Michelle Pfeiffer. When she couldn’t make it, those were certainly scrapped. Is it any wonder he looked a bit confused?
Amazon just hit me with a delay (until Friday) to deliver this one. Hoping the others aren’t next.

The first one was one of Pixar’s best. It should have been nominated for best picture. This one has a high bar to clear, but I’m looking forward to it.
Yeah, I would have bought steelbooks for each of the 10 original features, but now I have the two box sets. If the disc content is the same, I can't see buying them again, much as I'd want those steelbooks.
I can't imagine they won't release it. Same goes for Mando Season 3 and Ahsoka. BTW, rumor floating around (unrelated to blu-rays) is that The Acolyte will get a second season.
This kind of thing seems to go on when one party or another is angling for something. Maybe in this case, Legendary wants a bigger piece of the pie.
But having observed how Hollywood operates for nearly 50 years now, I think Dune 3/Messiah is as much of a sure thing as there is. Yes, Villeneuve...
