It’s been a minute since I’ve posted here but I had to in regards to this release. I just got my set today and in addition to the overal crap show that this release is (which is SUPER disappointing) I’ve run into this problem and wonder if it affects all sets?
On Season Five Disc Two - the last...
I totally agree!
My friend Mark got this Mill Creek set and confirmed that Season Seven's "Sisters at Heart" and all of the Eighth Season do not have the openings like the Sony DVDs do.
This is a pic of the packaging...cardboard sleeves:/

Mill Creek confirmed today that these will not include sponsor openings, etc:( Not surprising though. The link is to their tweet confirming.
I didn't see the end credits but I thought Mill Creek's version of "Cousin Serena Strikes Again" Part One wasn't as red as Sony's.
They also used the same jittery print of "Samantha's Wedding Present."
I've really enjoyed having Bewitched re-released by Mill Creek as it makes it easier to have marathons. The degradation of the picture is barely noticeable.
I would love to see a Halloween Collection and a Christmas Collection. These would both be one disc each making it so easy to have a...
I'm going to give Millcreek the benefit of the doubt and say they will try for better prints considering they restored the missing parts of the Ben Franklin episodes on Season Three.
I love the cover art for the combo pack with Samantha looking like "Oh my stars! Two Darrins??" and Dick...
So I clocked 24:15 for "Endora Moves in For a Spell" and 24:55 for "The Short Happy Circuit of Aunt Clara".I think the reason the first one is short is because this teaser for next week's episode is missing:However it only accounts for seven seconds.

I hope this really is true this time. That's the week before my birthday:)

Well, I'm pleased to announce that MillCreek came through in a pinch and has restored the "Part 2 Next Week" words over Samantha's worried face at the end of S.3's "My Friend Ben". They have also restored the episode recap at the beginning of "Samantha for the Defense." Unfortunately the ball of...
Is there a possibility of getting Mill Creek to correct the mistakes Sony made on Season Three which are as follows:
In the episode "My Friend Ben" when Samantha zaps up the tankard of ale, there is one frame mysteriously missing from the Sony release which is demonstrated in the middle screen...
A month away from Muppets Most Wanted, a deluge of Muppets everywhere, and yet no peep (or should I say 'meep') about Season Four or Five of the Muppet Show??! I don't get the hold up.
After nine years since I began this thread my 'grail' of a Liz movie is FINALLY COMING TO DVD!!According to Amazon "The Legend of Lizzie Borden" is being released by New Video Group on May 12, 2014. I hope it's remastered. Are any of you familiar with that studio...
That is ridiculous that they aren't all in French!
I wish so much that CBS/Paramount or Shout! Factory owned Bewitched so it could've received the treatment it so well deserves.
I got the set today and I hate to admit it but it is a disappointment, even though I knew it would be. It is merely all the previously released discs, artwork and all, in a big box with the spindles to stack all the discs on. Here are pics I took of the unboxing:
This really irks me that Sony cannot give Bewitched the respect it deserves! I had had the hope that there would be a special 50th anniversary Complete Series box set released for the anniversary next year...and instead we're served the same thing in some type of possibly new packaging...
My favorite sketch is "Went With the Wind" especially Vicki Lawrence running around screaming "MISS STARLET! MISS STARLET!" and Carol smacking her! LOL
So I don't have any news about a Complete Series set unfortunately, however, I do have some great news for all you Bewitched fans who weren't aware yet...
I just became a first time published author with a very detailed book about the episodic history of Bewitched! It has a long crazy name...
Bewitched definitely! There is SO MUCH extra material that needs to be on Blu Ray, especially having the original sponsor openings and closings and Liz's introductions where applicable. With the 50th anniversary of the series coming up in 2014, it would be a perfect time for a Complete Series...
Warner Archives has released THREE more Liz TV movies this month on DVD-R!!:banana:
They are:
Black Widow Murders: The Blanche Taylor Moore Story
Belle Starr
Between the Darkness and the Dawn
They are each $19.95.
Now if Paramount would just jump on the bandwagon and release...
With the premiere of The Muppets less than two weeks away, I'm really surprised that Season Four wasn't announced. Hopefully Disney is just waiting to see how the box office does, but man, do I want those final two seasons!
