If I will upgrade my system what would I prioritize the speaker KEF (Q3, Q9c, Q1) or receiver (rotel rsx-1055)? For the speakers I'm having problems with the midbass and for the amp, the volume is almost on the 90% level. My room bit large and I like to feel the sound kind-away ;)

Thanks John, I recheck the phase and no problem with that department. I did use a test cd, their is a dip in the midbass section then after that part the subs kick in. I by-pass the subs crossover and use my receivers x-overs and set it at 80hz to avoid any overlap, i think :-) Anyways my room...

I own KEF Q3 for fronts and a velodyne cht 15 subs. Sounds great but I feel it lacks "punch". I tried moving the sub around, played with the x-over and phase controls but still no kick.

Value for money for me they are great specially for home theater. I have q3 for front and q9c for center. they sound fine. They are warm not high as other speakers I have tested, or maybe becoz of the amp :) but worth cheking them out;)
