In the dvd player, I go to the system menu, and under 'Screen Setup' it has an option called 'Component Out'. Next to that option it says, 'Interlace' and I cannot highlight it to change it to 'Progressive' (as it says to do in the manual. Weird...I wonder if it's something with the TV?

Thanks for the reply. The dvd player is definitly progressive scan. And the TV can support 480p, 720p, 1081i.

hmmm...The menu I'm on is the official set up menu of the player. I was thinking maybe there is an official menu on the TV where I need to turn on progressive scan or something? Did not see it going through all the menus though. Thanks, Andrew
