http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/rti6/ Looking at these speakers. They are rated for 125 watts, but my receiver does either 130 or 140 watts per channel.. Are these speakers too light for my receiver? will i damage the speakers?
basically 2 questions, i just bought a 4600, is there anyway to get the GUI to be on 480p instead of 480i? and can the 4600 do 480i -> 480p interlacing? also is the GUI on the RX-V2600 480p or 480i? thanks
yes, awesome thanks man, but whats the diff between matrix and discrete? edit: DTS-ES Matrix is actually a 5.1-channel format with the back surround audio channel matrixed into those of the right and left surround. The back surround channel is matrixed in similar fashion as the front...
hrmm... i'll continue messing with this.... in the mean time... what are some good examples of common 6.1 and 7.1 movies? make sure i have some more material to test with.
the receiver supports THX processing, but it only has 5.1 output to speakers, but there is a preouts for 7.1, i tried using another receiver to power the surround back channels the extra +2 speakers, but i am getting no signal.. any suggestions?
I have a Kenwood VR-5080, for some reason i cannot seem to pass high definition signals through the component in to the monitor out component... e.g. my xbox will not push the signal through the amp to my projector... any ideas?
Ok, my setup is as follows. i am currently running in 5.1, but would like to go up to 6.1 or 7.1.. I am in the market for a new receiver which has component/s-video for each video input as well as tosklink/coaxil audio input for each input... and ...if possible dual monitor...
does anyone have the HDTV System Selector by mad catz? i know it has 4 component inputs for video.. but for audio... does it have rca L-R only? or does it support optical or coaxil digital? i really hope it's not RCA L-R only http://www.madcatz.com/MadCatz/produ...roduct_id=6132
what would be better on the X1? running 50 feet of component to the component ->s-video adapter then into the projector or running 50 feet of s-video to the componenet -> s-video adapter then into the projector
i was up at radioshack..... i couldn't find crimp on or screw on connectors... but i did find these at radio shack.... (similar to this... but from radio shack.. it's a solder kind) can you solder the rca adapter to a rg6 cable? if not what do you solder these rca connectors to...
...i have read about making your own component cable out of rg6 cable... ... let me just double check... if i go to home depot and get 3 pieces of rg6...and get some f-connector to rca adapters... can i use this for component video???
hey, i am making a mount for my projector from some polycarbonate plexiglass stuff i came across... it's way to big... like 18"x18" and i need to cut it down to the size of my projector... what the best way to sut it to size?
