Go with the plv-z2 from sanyo . I saw it WOWWW I own the Z1 and it is very good but if you can afford the Z2,go for it. I saw the X1 but it got the rainbow effect and the colors are not very punched....I didn't like it happy new years huot;)

There's a service menu on the Z1 ? How do you enter it? all the best huot:) :)

Hi I have a Sanyo PLV-Z1 with a Panasonic DVD-RV80.This DVD player have Interlace component output. Somebody told me that the Z1 have a built in processor that transform the interlace signal to a progressif one. My question is: Will I get better picture with a progressive DVD player...

Hi I saw thw X1....and I compared with Sanyo PLV-Z1. The PLV-Z1 is much better. the color are more punched and you didn't see rainbow !!!!! I finally bought the PLV-Z1...Great device for the price !!! 1750$ CAD at Quebec acoustic all the best Huot ;)

Hi everybody, I just bought a Sanyo PLV-Z1 this week end. Many of you write that is better to put a Hoya 52mm FL-D Filter. Can I go with an other brand such TIFFEN or B&W ? Does anybody did the test? Thanks you very much Huot
