Can you buy some sort of stand/bracket that will let you tilt your center speaker? I have a JBL N-Center II. It could be mounted directly on the TV or on a shelf.

What is the best height to put your TV at? My first thought was that the center of the TV be at eye level. But then your center speaker (usually placed on top of TV) is supposed to be at ear level... I'm considering a 50" HDTV (LCD or DLP rear projection), which makes it's height about 36"...

The Velodyne's look like they may be a good solution, though I just noticed the Dayton sub is now on sale for $99. Two of those seem pretty tempting too... Any answers to the question of putting bookcases on either side of sub? Thanks, Jill
