I haven't been to the forum in a while. I remember last time I was here there was a list of recommended DVD to watch for Home Theater's. I feel I really have my system set up nicely and want to watch a few movies with great surround sound. Can anybody point my in the right direction?

I'm having a hard time getting my on screen display from my reciever to TV working. The manual says to use a 75-Ohm round coaxial cable. I thought this was the same thing as a component video cable? Isn't it? Just trying to rule out the fact that I may be using the wrong cable. I was also given...

Just to update. I went to GG today and they only had the display left. So they sold it to me for $209. Hopefully it works out for me. At that price I can't go wrong. Shawn

Just seen this reciever (Denon AVR1804) on sale at GoodGuys for $249. I always read about people looking for good quality recievers for lower prices. I'm no expert but think this is a good reciever at that price. Anybody agree, or disagree?

Yes, talking about totally legit legal site's. I've heard there are sites that charge around a $1 a piece. I can't afford to get in trouble over something like that.

I'm planning a party at my house next weekend. I want to do the DJ'ing myself by downloading dance music to my computer then just setting up playlists for the party. Can anybody suggest the best or good download sites. Any other advice you want to through in would be appreciated. Shawn

Sabryan, How do you like these speakers? For HT or music?

I know timber matching is very important between center, and both fronts. How important is it with rear? I mean wouldn't just a "like" speaker work fine being that you just hear effects through them?

What are your thoughts on in wall mounted speaker for rear surround? I went to tweeter today and listened to both Boston Acoustics & Niles and they sound pretty good.

Kevin, I made a typo, sorry. The RTi70's are $173 each open box at Circuit City. The price I wrote for RTi70's ($99)were actually for the RTi38's. "My bad", had a hard time reading my own writting. Just found them at Fry's for $179 each new as well.

They sound good (tweeters). I just checked and they are all new San Diego area. None where I live. Just between LA/Orange County.

I've went to Best Buy (which is pretty good for listening), Good Guys, Circuit City, Seperco, & Ken Clane. Anybody no any other places in Southern California to look and listen. None of these place have Boston, and other speakers. I want to listen to as many as possible before buying.
