What about the RAD Micro's? Rutledge Audio Design Speaker Page Or how about the Pinnacle Quantums? Pinnacle Quantum satellites Or the Home Theater Direct Middies? HTD Middies
I too, thought the Bose VCS-10 had a permanent lock on the "under achieving center channel" crown. The guys over at Athena must have worked some long hours to come up with a product thats inferior.
Yeah, ever since the night of the Dateline show, a forum that I frequent thats about MLM, specifically Quixtar, has been on fire with IBO's comming in and trying(unsuccessfully) to defend their "business". It really is amazing how crazy some of these people can get. I actually like it when...
Well, the show was pretty good, and touched on most of the important facts about the scam. I am curious as to how the "true believer" IBO's will react to this show.
Britt WorldWide(BWW) is one of 18 Quixtar Lines of Sponsorship(LOS), they are in what I would consider to be a tie, with Team of Destiny(TOD), for the absolute worst LOS, as far as deception and money loss goes(from what I've been able to find anyways). And yes, Bo Short was a Diamond in either...
I was afraid that Dateline would do a wishy washy soft story about Quixtar, but it appears that they will be tearing the company apart. YEeeeeaaaaaYYYYY!!!!
Great story Moe and thank you for sharing. I cant stand it when "they" compare their "opportunity" to legitimate businesses, like the McDonalds comparison. If McDonalds did business like Quixtar, then franchise owners would open their own McDonalds, be the only ones to eat at their own...
Absolutely please share your story, people need to hear about what happens. The ONLY reason that this scam has gone on the way that it has for over 4 decades is because of peoples reluctancy to speak out against it. Of course the internet didnt exist for most of the history of Amway/Quixtar, but...
I did a search on this company, and while I feel that MLM doesnt really compare to any other industry, there is one exception, Insurance. The Insurance industry has many parallels to the way MLM's operate, including recruiting. As far as I can tell after a quick search, this is just another in a...
Ok guys, the Dateline NBC story about Amway/Quixtar is going to air THIS friday, May 7. Its about time, I am really excited to see this show, I think its going to open quite a few peoples eyes. Heres a link for the Dateline TV schedule, apparently they have hidden video to go along with the...
Well, it looks like the Dateline story is on hold for the moment. A conspiracy? Maybe, maybe not, who knows, they have put years into this story and I'm sure it will air someday. On a side note, I am going to post a article about the similarities between organized crime and Amway/Quixtar. It's a...
Hell no!!!! I figure if I'm not the one slaughtering the animals, but I expect meat to be at the supermarket when I get there, I really dont have much of a say in the preparation process. If they have to add an extra step or two in there to kill the animal before they butcher it, its my opinion...
Any snowmobilers? I realize that I might not get too many replys, as Home Theater and Snowmobiling can both be expensive sports/hobbies, but are there any other sledheads out there?
Sorry it took me so long to reply JamesDB, I like "brighter" speakers, while Bostons certainly are clear sounding, they just sound "flat" to me, it doesnt appeal at all.
All the electronics that I have ever bought overseas were dual voltage, all I had to do was buy an adaptor for the end of the cord and flip a switch on the back of the unit. I have never taken American electronics overseas, though I have had friends that bought power convertors. Why are you...
Yeah, those watts were specially designed for the 6.5" Gold Bullet Aluminized Cones(sarcasm). It's hard to tell from the pics, but it appears that the dust caps on the drivers were made to look like phase plugs, CHEESY!!!! It's starting to smell in here.
I say yes we do need this aircraft, if we want to maintain air superiority in this next millennium, we need a superior aircraft. Which our current fleet is not, we just have far superior training and support systems than any other country in the world, which keeps us on top. The F22 and the JSF...
I wouldnt say "stuck" with the B52, the B52 is a damn fine A/C and more than capable of completing it's mission. The fact that it's not scheduled to be replaced until 2045 is a testament to its design and adaptability.
Or the new Joint Strike Fighter(which I believe is still in test phase anyway), which also happens to be a very impressive A/C. Unless of course he is going to transfer to the Air Force, but if he was training on the F22, he would already be in the Air Force.
