not common? that sucks - most of my music is on my rio mp3 player...i can burn it to CD but it would be so much easier if my mp3 and receiver were compatible...
I currently have: Mitsubishi Diamond Series 65inch HDTV Energy Take-5 speakers with s12.3 sub Dennon 2900 DVD player I would like multi-room, an mp3 input, and simple setup...and for less than 400 dollars... ...oh yea, the room is about 300 sq ft with ceramic tile floors and about 30...
take a chill pill elinor. both techs have their pluses and minuses - it seems like to me that you have an almost religeous zeal for LCDs. i just went through the process of deciding between the 70 inch LCD sony and the 65 inch Mits diamond - I went with the latter but only because it wound...
I went with a Denon 2900. Now a real newbie question, should/can I pipe the video through my AVR (Yamaha c940) or directly into the TV? No DVI output on the DVD so I am going to be component regardless. feel free to correct me if I am wrong...and I probably am. ;)
hey Geo, me too...at 3K (i thought I would have to pay 4200 for the 815 over the net) it seems like a steal. now trying to build a sub 2000 DVD/SACD/HT system...
Thanks for the feedback guys... If upconversion isnt a big deal on the Mits, I think I would avoid the 975...Would the Yamaha model be the DVDC750? btw, sorry about Oklahoma last night.
Hey all, just ordered a WS65-813 from Tweeter (great deal at 2,999) and am looking for a good DVD player for low dollars (if it exists)...the Tweeter salesman was trying to sell me a Sony NS975V...any opinions? How important is it to match your TV to a specific DVD player? Thanks all!
thanks for the feedback. one more question, the 73 incher for about 500 more still is tempting - does the 815 offer a much higher quality picure than the 73? From the look of the casing the 815 looks more impressive - to me anyway.
Looks so nice and is in the upper end of my price range...I was tryint to wait for this whole Intel LCOS thing to materialize but am losing my patience. Anybody with any experience with this set?
I didnt know about the 1500 dollar rebate. The seller is asking 500 for shipping, thus we are actually at 4000 - still good, but with the 1500 rebate taken into consideration, the seller still has close to the standard markup.
Great feedback guys. After doing more research...does anybody know when a 60 inch LCOS will come out that compares to the Elite in both Quality and Cost?
thanks guys. taxfeeelectronics is offering the 730 for 3450 Bob, you know a lot more about this stuff than I do. If you had 4,000 to spend and wanted the best 60ish RPHDTV you could get for that price what would you do? Or would you go with another technology?
Thanks for the feedback. I had an old elite about three years ago and I was continuously amazed at the crisp appearance. I forgot to say that the best price I can find is 3,450. Any better deals out their? thanks.
First, is this the best rear projection HD tv available? Second, are there any better prices out their for this set? I priced this out two years ago at 5,500 dollars, thus a 40% drop in price is huge. Am I a confused newbie or is this one heck of a deal? Thanks for any feedback.
