My new favorite DVD-A is the new Flaming Lips - Yoshimi package. A truly inspired hi-rez 5.1 mix, and a huge set of extra stuff (2.0 hi-rez versions of alternate tracks and remixes, and a great collection of videos) just completely blew me away. This is a great example of what this format can be.

The most current patch of media player 9 does HDCD.

Neil Young's "On the Beach" has just been released in HDCD. Sounds great. As does a lot of the Warner Brother's era Grateful Dead, "Live Dead" in particular. As far as playing HDCD's i know that if you update to the current version of the Windows Media Player, it can playback in HDCD. Sounds...

Lots of good suggestions. I also really love Traffic, with Steve Winwood. Amazingly soulful voice, and a great keyboard and bass player. My personal favorite albums of theirs are Traffic and Last Exit.
