Finally got my Panasonic. Set up this weekend, looks great! No time to get my sound system or bluray set up this weekend, but watched a regular dvd upsampled and it looked fantastic! I have a plasma again (my old one died)! Next week my sound system.
No, I'm not interested in 3-D. Avatar in 3D didn't impress me as something I want in my home. In the theater, in the dark of a theater that's fine and I'll go there to see it. I don't want to replicate it in my home.
No, none. The damage was all inside. I really wonder what happened. The delivery guys said that was something they hadn't seen happen to them in a long time.
Well I ordered a Panasonic TC-P58S1 from B&H Photo. It came today and the whole panel had a crack from one side to the other at a diagonal. What a bummer! I really wanted to watch a good movie this weekend. Manna Freight is the company that delivered. I just hope the next one works and has...
Joe, I have never gone cd shopping in Vancouver; however, did hear that Absound is a good place to go. Store Locations Here in Seattle, I would go to Silver Platters. There are 3 stores in the area. In Portland, OR Music Millenium.
Somebody sure thinks it's OOP LOTR: Return of the King -- Complete Recordings SEALED - eBay (item 110242588137 end time Apr-18-08 22:46:55 PDT) Ending bid of $277. Unbelievable.
While I always have liked greatest hits packages, I have always wondered how people can split up music that originally came from concept albums (such as much of the Moody Blues, Beach Boys, and Beatles albums). You have some great music in there, but Question (as an example), by the MB just...
Do you feel the same way about Microsoft? It's funny because MS is the one being taken to court for monopolistic practices. Yet they would like nothing better than to destroy hi-def software in order to control VOD.
Ah, the good old days of Saturday morning cartoons. Still remember the big previews they would give on Friday nights for those cartoons and how I would spend all Saturday morning long between 7 and 12 watching them. Long before cable. Sadly, those days are gone with Cartoon Network. Saturday...
I hardly ever bought dvds at Tower and wouldn't buy any at any B&M outside of Costco and occasionally Target. BUT, cds are what I miss the most at Tower. Seattle, where I will be moving has Silver Platters--not a bad place, but the best in the NW is Music Millenium. It is a wonderful store...
I bought mine on a Region 2 Japanese release about 3 years ago. It's this one: http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%A2%E3...4760720&sr=8-3 Don't remember it costing 3990 yen, though, more like 2500 yen. Most have been on sale.
I'm going to be 47 soon and will possibly be looking into another field. Robert's attitude would scare me if I thought I couldn't start over at my age. I feel I have at least 20 years left in me.
