I dont see Having an issue in your room with a FP.. For example if you were using a sp4805 and you had a throw distance of 12 feet you would get a max screen size of 93.342 diagonal height 45.762 and width 81.355 if you want to get an idea of sizes take a look at this...

Ok Im a little confused Im ready to make my sp 4805 purchase but Im a little confused with its video capabilites.. InFocus says Component and RGB HDTV (720p, 1035i, 1080i) but DVI with HDCP for digital video and encrypted digital video. Component EDTV (480p, 576p progressive scan) I confused as...
Yes they can drop but I would have to disagree about the very hot weather causing signal drop. I live in Phoenix Az and with the sun baking on my dish and LNBs it has to get above 120+ on a daily basis and i've never witnessed signal drop from that.
PQ in my Opinion looks the same. Dish network does offer more channels. Their setup receives programing from 2 different satellites which also make setting up the dish outside a little more dificult

Fry's Electronics has a 52" 16:9 rptv on sale of $999 until tuesday does anyone know the model # or how the Tv Rates. I know most people no longer care for RCA but $999 is cheap for a 52" TV
OK Ive been looking at alot of sets lately and Im trying to find a set with a good analog picture as well as a good HD picture. Im trying to limit my budget to $1500. Ive seen many of the lower budget Phillips,RCA,ETC. that look great with a good HD feed but they don't look so great with an OTA...
John I looked at that site and all the sets say product is refurbished or reconditioned do you know if they come with any manufactures warranty BTW I was looking at reviews of that TV and electronicsalley.com shows it as a 16:9 st and everyone else shows a 4:3 set
OK I Know this isn't a lot to spend but its all I have to spend. Of course I want the best quality and largest size possible, but I also realize that Im going to have to compromise in this price range. I would rather find it at a store like Circuit City or Best Buy. Im open to Internet purchases...
Don quit being so ungodly negative about these new players. I bet there is a reason he went with a player that cost $150 instead of a player the cost $500. I have a sigma based player and love it. Im sure it doesn't beat a $500+ player but PQ on my player and Mitsubishi WS-65511 looks astounding...
Don you are quite negative toward the new upscaling dvd players. Have you had the opportunity to test one out. I like mine very much . I would recommend one to somebody that it looking for a decent picture that doesn't want to re-mortgage the house
The NeuNeo you refer to is Actually the Mecotek MK-X4000. It is sold out of a place in China called NeuNeo but you pay a hefty shipping charge through them. You can get one at http://bigbuyz.com for less shipping and it does use the same Sigma chip as the liteon lvd 2001
In a Player Like the LiteOn Lvd2001,Bravo D1 and a few other players. Is it the EM8500 from Sigma Designs thats handling the de-interlacing or is it a different chip in the player
I have heard A few times people questioning the quality of RCA TVs. I was wondering if you guys and Gals could comment on what you know about the quality of RCA products Especially the RCA D52W15 which I can get for $999 at best buy. Any input would be appreciated
Im not sure if this is the best place for the question but why are there so many widescreen formats.. And assuming I Have a standard widescreen Tv what size will fill it the most.
