Was all set to go w/ JBL NSP1 & Sony sub, please help...

partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&PartNumber=300-632&DID=7 (cut & paste the above as I still can't post urls here with less than 15 posts) I'm considering the same setup as discussed here NSP1 with a Dayton 10" sub... I can't find these Dayton subs on a yahoo search so I pulled up...

    Difference between JBL speakers?

Jason, I had problems in responding to your last email... so here goes: I live in a townhouse style condo and the living room is small.... one of those so-called "big rooms" where the living/dining room are connected. The actual living room space is about 18x8. I was considering the 75...

    Difference between JBL speakers?

I am reviving this fascinating JBL "n" thread to ask about how this conifig looks: - Harman Kardon AVR125 receiver - JBL NSP1 set (4-N24 Sats, 1-N Center) - Sony WM40 (is that the right one?) I keep reading how the Harman Kardon power specs are "under" specced. Is this a good match? I...

Lew Crippen... ya, I was kinda thinkin' about the receiver... maybe one of those Yamahas or Onkyos I keep seein mentioned here... think I can get a step above the Sherwood 6108...

N00b system: Sub $400 to good to be true??

Thanks for the reply Jack! For the experts out there... is this as good as I can get staying under $400.00? I thought if getting a pair of better speakers to start with and a quality receiver... then slowly upgrading with the sub, center and rears down the road... I guess I just want...

N00b system: Sub $400 to good to be true??

I'm a first time poster... this is a fantastic forum!! I've been reading tons of threads for the past week as I am seriously considering an entry-level HT audio system to go with my Pioneer 5-disc DVD player and Sony 27" Wega CRT TV. From my readings here and research on the net... J&R has...
