You'll want to use that fingering. Your fingers are long enough, just experiment with how you're angling your wrist and knuckles/etc. Chords are always very awkward at first, but you'll get used to them. Its important to use the proper fingering.
I play Horn in an orchestra and guitar in jazz/rock groups. This means that I know what real ensambles sound like in many different genres of musical playing. So I went with a speaker that sounded as "orchestral" as I could at the time.

I have a Maranetz SR4200 reciever right now, would it be a good idea to buy just the poweramp section and use the SR4200 as a pre until my speakers are upgraded?
This was suggested to me for a projector in the 1k price range. Does anyone have any experience, suggestions, advice, etc about it? Alternatives? Thanks.
I want to increase seating in my room... how should I go about raising a couch up high enough for the people seated in it to see above those infront? Should I just build a frame out of 2x4s and finish it with plywood? Thanks.
What Rotel seperates setup would you suggest for a 5 channel HT with B&W 602 S3s all around? Budget is flexible... I need to get an idea of what the costs are before I set one though. Thanks.

Steve -- The room is about 22' long, and I think ~12' or 14' across at its widest. The seats are not very close to the back wall, ~8 feet back I'd say.

1000 (I could push for an extra 500) dollars, with amp. The room is mid-sized, and completely asymetrical. I need a subwoofer to go with B&W 602 S3s all around driven by Rotel. I tend to like to listen at "Theater" levels... so the sub needs to put out good solid volume. The room isn't...

i could do 602 all the way around, would that be better than the LCR600 in the middle? And for sub I want SVS, just not sure which model/combo yet. And for amplification, I figured on Rotel seperates.
