Well the cover art is up at dvdempire and I'm pretty disappointed, the back cover lists it at 1.85:1 (4/3) when it should be 2.35:1. Also looks like it's non-anamorphic, guess Wellspring wont be getting my $20. :thumbsdown:

I've seen these for sale on ebay and they usually go for a pretty high price, a completed auction that I hope is ok to post was #3343484159. I haven't been able to locate it anywhere else, I'm not sure but it might not be an authorized release. Does anyone know about this set or any etailers...

Thanks for the warning Ted. I already own the Japanese DVD that's 2.00:1 non anamorphic and I would hate to own 2 poor transfers of this film, I'll wait for a review.

How much more can it actually cost to release the films as 4:3 on one side and widescreen on the other? I wish they would release all their bargain titles that way, I'd start buying them. And releasing a 2.35:1 film in pan&scan only is inexcusable.

I caught about the first 30 minutes of THE DAY THE FISH CAME OUT on cable a few years ago and have always wanted to see the rest. It looked like one of the wildest 60s comedies I've ever seen. Would anyone have any information about a DVD release in any region or maybe just know if it's a good film?
