I was just a bit iffy about getting a plasma. I hear they consume twice the amount of energy an LCD does and that once they starting fading, there is nothing you can do about it. If I were to get a plasma, it would be that Panni. Do you really think its that much better then the LG?

They come with a standard 2 year warrenty in Canada. I am going to buy one of the 3. LG 42LC7D Samsung LNS4041D Sharp Aquos LC37D43U Anyone have comments on any of the above 3 displays? The Samsung is only 8ms, will there be any ghosting effects during fast sports?

Cerwin Vega! Been using Cerwins for about 7 years now and they keep getting better! Never had a problem, and they hit hard.

I have just recently purchased a pair of 12"Cerwins for my fronts to replace my old Cerwins AT-8's. Now, with those old AT-8s could I make a sub with the 2 8" speakers? How would 2-8's sound for a sub? Any advice? thanks

If you are watching a widescreen movie on a widescreen TV, shouldn't there be black on top and bottom?

That is just the game and the size of your tv. I has a 51" with the avanced AV pack and i was thinking the same as you. I notice it mostly with the Sport titles (ESPN hockey & Football 2k5) but when i put in a game like Splinter Cell, looks amazing! So really, it must just be the games..
