My mother's DVD player (a Panasonic) just died, the thing was about 5 years old but seemed to have problems since day one. Anyway, she's looking for a new "basic/standard" DVD player. She doesn't have any "hi-end" equipement, the only thing she will be using this with is a basic 4 year old...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...v=glance&n=130 Looks like a good deal for someone who doesn't own these movies as the price is right! (Reminds me of the "Robocop" or "Karate Kid" sets that also featured all the movies in the series and were equaly as cheap.) But what about those of...
Well I guess it's no longer "just a rumor": http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...v=glance&s=dvd I saw the original in the theatre and thought it was "OK" at best. I bought the "Widescreen" DVD when it came out but haven't got around to actually watching it yet... Now this is coming!
(Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section?) I just received my copy of the Official soundtrack for "Revenge of the Sith", it comes with a bonus DVD disc. The disc contains a chapter by chapter story "run down" with music and images from all 6 trailers and movies themselves...
Just got this today. I open it up and the 4th disc is off the hub and free inside the case (the "exact" same thing happened to me when season 2 was released... Even the same damn disc!) and as a result was somewhat scratched. It's not too bad but I can't stand it having any scratches at...
I have Toshiba's 34HFX84, it's great and I love it! However, I'm wondering should I be watching DVD's at 1080i or 540p? This is something I don't know much about??? Right now I've set it to 1080i.
I appologize if I sound ignorante and/or am asking a stupid question but I've always wondered if "Direct View" HDTV's were better (picture quality) than "RPTV's"? I ask because when I bought my 34" Direct View HDTV, I noticed that most (if not all) the 50" "RPTV's" were selling for the same...
I bought the Toshiba 34HDX82 about two years ago. Everything was great and I loved the TV! This past month, the picture tube "sparked" resulting in a bunch of horizontal lines in my screen... The repair people came and had a look at it, they could do nothing to repair it, the tube was...
I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned somewhere but I've searched everywhere (including this forum) and I can't seem to find when both these shows will start up again?
Is this set worth buying? How is the PQ? How many discs does it have? Some places say 3, others say 4... Does anyone know if they plan to make a new and improved version of this set anytime in the future?
This is coming out next week on May 4, no one here has mentioned it yet? Am I the only one here that liked this show and is buying it??? Now if they could only start releasing 90210 in "season sets"!
Seems they are re-releasing this DVD on May 11th labeled "Limited Edition"... I never bought this movie on DVD, should I get this new edition or should I get one of the earlier releases? I know that they re-released a single disc edition last year which is still available... What would be the...
Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right erea? I have the Toshiba 34HDX82 34' widescreen TV. Could anyone tell me how to access the service menu? I wish to correct some geometric issues (not sure if that is the right term?), I have the AVIA DVD. I am told that this DVD can help...
