this isn't going to help you any... I have the 45tx but use the 6th and 7th channel as rear back surrounds. I have read threads here and at www.avsforum.com about this biamping. I have read the same as you have (the 43 and 47 supporting it)...but some folks claim that the 45 does as well. It...
Rich...I know what you mean. One thing I love about the Dead is the fact you can download their concerts. SHN + Cable internet = A bunch of concerts. I actually have the show on VCD...but the audio quality is not very good. I do not have the show on CD...but am sure I can find it. ;)
While I can not comment on the Axioms...I have the ASF2, ASB2 (surround), ASB1 (surround back) and ASC1 and love them. They are being powered by a Pioneer Elite 45tx. I do not think they will disappoint you.
I have the following... ASF2 (fronts) ASC1 (Center) ASB2 (Surrounds) ASB1 (Surround Backs) No sub *yet* (still recovering from all this audio stuff I just purchased) The ASF2's do produce a very good amount of bass...however...they can not replace a sub woofer. I am content at this...
can that that port be used to control the 45tx using a computer? Could have sworn I saw somewhere software available allowing you to hook your computer up to the 45tx. Someone please enlighten me on this port...and what exactly it can or can not be used for.
help me out please. Trying to figure out if there is something wrong with my DVD player/TV. I have read majority of the posts to see if others see the problem I do. Sorry...but this is going to be plain english as I do not know all the tech jargon. On the widescreen version...time...
there you go....50 Mhz!!! :) Course I really do not understand all that. I just use it for sound...and do not have my video running into it (except VCR). I have my DVD player component hooked directly into the TV. There is no advantage of running the component video into the receiver and...
No fan..but unit has never gotten hot. 2 Component Video In -- 1 Component Video out 40 MHz is the bandwidth -->I *think*...do not hold me to this. Unit is awesome...though discontinued. 675 is a great price (I paid 800+ for mine). Newer models (53 and 55) but they are more expensive...
not talking about that actually. Was wondering which was more important...has more of an impact. The DVD player or the receiver? I guess I am wondering if the DVD player overrides the receiver or vice versa? :)
Was watching LOTR earlier today and this isn't really a problem...just curiosity. I have an older Sony DVD Player -- DVP-NC600 which has the regular DTS. My receiver, Pioneer Elite 45tx, has DTS ES. I know DTS ES is for the extra rear channels. However...I am talking about sound in general...
I know exactly what you are talking about Bill and I have the same problem as well. So I think it narrows it down to the DVD...glad to see someone else have the problem.
I have the following Athena’s F2 -> Fronts C1 -> Center B1 -> Surround Back B2 -> Surround Left/Right I have them hooked up to a Pioneer Elite 45tx. I am not a fan of bright speakers as I hate getting slapped in the face. IMO...the speakers along with this receiver sound just right. The...
Yes...that is exactly what it was David. Just to much difference in the sound range...so I was having to keep lowering and raising the volume. With the compression on "mid" I can keep it on one volume setting. :)
First of all...I believe the receiver is great. I have it powering some Athena speakers. Anyway...my problem is that on movies sometimes the normal dialogue is muddy(?) in that all the action around the characters is fairly loud but it is hard to hear what the characters are saying. I get...
wow...thank you for the quick replies. I think I will just hold off on them...because they are fairly expensive and 14 banana plugs (for the 7 speakers) would take a big bite out of the wallet. Will just be careful when I have to disconnect and reconnect them. :)
Seriously. I have a Pioneer 45tx with Athena speakers all the way around. I currently just have the Athena's hooked up by straight cable (monster cable) with no adapters...or "banana plugs" My question. What exactly are banana plugs...and would I benefit (sound quality) by having them? I...
I have the AS-F2, AS-B2, AS-B1 and AS-C1 (7 speakers) powered by a Pioneer Elite 45tx. I can not describe how much I love these speakers. Have not had a bit of distortion (no matter how loud it has been cranked). Everything to me is just right...a little warm if anything. Not very bright (which...
I have the Pioneer Elite 45TX. Powering the following... Center > AS-C1 Front R/L > AS-F2 Surround R/L > AS-B2 Back Surround R/L > AS-B1 Absolutely love it. That is all I have to say about that :)
I have the 45TX and friggen love it. I personally do not like bright sounding system...and this 45TX with the following speaker combo...sounds well...friggen great!! All Athena Speakers--- Front Lt/Rt > AS-F2 Center > AS-C1 Surround Lt/Rt > AS-B2 Surrond Back(s) > AS-B1 To me the sound...
