200 seems alot for a DVD player these days. I have a Samsung P421 Progressive scan, you can find them for 100 or less. Awesome picture, quiet, DTS, optical output, and I have NEVER seen a layer change after 3 months of heavy use! Save the money, buy another toy to go with it. Johnny

Its true HDTV. The SAT receiver is not hdtv however. But the dvd player is pro-scan. When i use SVIDEO the picture looks very pixilated. As if the pixels dont disappar fast enought.
