That means the disc was recorded differently; because all the pause-points were scene-change points ("scene selection" menu), and all six pauses are repeatable.

You mean 100KHz. Most should be OK with default 50KHz unless their prepro or receiver's audio frequency response (3-dB bandwidth) is that large.

Keep on testing and if you get more skips, exchange it for a new one. No need to worry by a single non-repeatable skip, but since it has happened once, keep on checking and look for more skips before your return period expires.
