There is a long thread for the 540H-S over at avsforum. One of the regulars there is Canadian and might have that unit. I know he has posted buying at least one newer model than his 540. YMMV
You would need a program to "capture" the sound streaming from your sound card. I use Total Recorder by High Criteria. (www.highcriteria.com). This has the added benefit of scheduling. It can navigate to the stream, record for a period of time and then terminate the stream and the player. YMMV
Well, for one consider this. He needs a place to stay. Unless he owns a place and lives "off the grid", he has to pay recurring bills so that no one disturbs his place for lack of payment of utilities, taxes, mortgage, etc. If he can't keep an unmolested location for his junk, he would have to...
I have a better tale of woe. I forgot it was on but, fortunately, my Tivo was on CN so I was only about 5 minutes late ... then the power went out for the next 22.5 hours!!!!
I have a 2805 also. Do you have your receiver connected to a cable box? In my case, when I set the receiver "input" mode to auto, during commercials, it usually displays PLII but when the program, such as CSI returns, the receiver shifts to dolby digital. When I noticed that a DVD didn't cause...
I've found that the A/V dock (connection on bottom of iPod) gives better audio than through the earphone jack. I think the battery life might be longer as well .... YMMV
Actually, it's pretty easy to find out. Go to the TitanTV web site and enter the specifics: cable provider, digital and go to the grid. Titan can be configured to annotate whether a channel is HD. YMMV
Well, you can change the display to show "details" and then sort by date, name, etc. and then return to an icon only display. My beef is that I cannot arrange "recent documents" to show the most recent ones at the top of the list. YMMV
Not sure I fully understand your question but here are few things. - I don't think you would need an iPod
But, the iPod comes with a standard mini-headphone jack. A local radio shack-type store will carry a converter that goes from mini-RCA to stereo phono that will plug into any stereo...
We recently upgraded to Office 2003 Professional and I discovered that Word CAN "acquire text" from an attached scanner and do OCR. As with all OCR, GIGO is the watch-word and you have to carefully review for misreads, but it does work. We also use Adobe Acrobat to create PDF versions from...
There have been more than a few posts debating whether or not BM is or is not a gay movie. My vote calls it a relationship movie. Being a racial minority, I know for sure that, before a certain age in this country, a male-female relationship of different races would face as much hostility as...
Not having any liking for sports talk, I've often wondered if there would be so much of it, when guys get together, if they felt they could also express their inner feelings without being afraid of being labeled. They can obviously enjoy the company but society says they mustn't enjoy it too...
The NPR Show, "All Things Considered" did about 4-5 minutes talking about the SNL bit and all things cowbell; Feb 2005. There's even a web site devoted to the cowbell. If I can find that NPR link, I'll post it. I captured the audio of the piece using Total Recorder.
One thing to remember about giving out your phone number. Even if you place yourself on the "Do Not Call List" and give your number to a store, you have just given them the "right" to call you. YMMV
If you are on Comcast in Maryland, then I'd guess you have a Motorola cable box. If so, the model number should be on a label on the bottom of the box. I have a 6204, single tuner DVR, that has a coax out (which is limited 480i) and component (Red, Green, Blue) for HD (720p or 1080i). I believe...
"What I'd like to do is have a way of automatically recording a webcast at the same time every morning." I do this 7 days a week, 4 or 5 times a day during the week with TotalRecorder. It can capture any sound coming through your sound card as a WAV or convert to mp3 at a large variety of bit...
Please tell your cousin that she is wasting gas with all the extra trips to the pump and not saving any money anyway but is, in fact, spending more that way. YMMV
