It's entirely up to the theater chain, and sometimes the manager if they want to upgrade. I did projection for a few years at amc and they come in and calibrate everything at least once a year.
Sucks there's no full jam on that recently. The WH has 3 tracks not on the other, Sugar Will, Typical Situation and Mark/Carter jam. Ted, once you put the cd in with autorun enabled it auto-installs the drm. Here's something that might work to get it off. If you still can't get it to...
They are still capable of writing great stuff (see summer 04 songs), but for some reason lately they abandom them for albums. Seeing how Sugar Will and Joy Ride are on the b-sides for this album, they will probably continue playing them.
Most of the fanbase is with you on that one. The new tracks did sound good at the Roseland show. The band rehearsed and sounded great for the entire show. I'm still excited about seeing them this summer.
Question: If a dualdisc is coming out with 24-bit audio on the dvd side, what format is it most likely to be in? Also did anyone else find Any Given Thursday to be poorly mixed?
They aren't all the same price on Stand Up. The cd version is 13.99, dualdisc is 14.99. I'll probably pre-order through the warehouse to get the 3 extra live tracks on the bonus disc.
Anyone know what format the 24-bit stereo would be in? I'm disappointed they couldn't just put the content on two discs and save us the hassle. I wonder if the record company pushed dualdisc. Warehouse members get 3 extra live tracks on the "b-sides" bonus disc. :D
The amount of confusion and ignorance being spread over the internet by people posting "MGM Widescreen DVD's are really cropped pan & scan" threads is both scary and sad.
I think I noticed some frames bleeding together, like a flash at the bottom of the frame when shots are changed. I'll have to compare it to my regular Internation cut to verify if I'm imagining this or not.
Some people on imdb said they had this problem. Superbit DVDs usually(at least in my experience) play the DTS track by default. Both Leon and Fifth do this. They need to switch to Dolby to hear the movie if they don't have a dts decoder.
