My friend and I laughed through this whole movie it was so bad. Here's a description of the chase scenes... Benicio runs, gets away. Tommy sniffs a leaf, picks up a stick, finds him. Repeat. Horrible, laughable movie.
As a college student, there's not too much extra money just laying around...so when I got my big screen, there wasn't much left for an a/v rack. Well, anything is better than having everything strewn about on the floor. I was going through Home Depot the other day and came to the shelving...

Why would one be distracted from the movie if they've already seen it and they're watching it...for the commentary? That's rather bad logic, because if they didn't want to know more abou the movie, they wouldn't listen to the commentary.
The room's pretty small, so there's not enough room between the fireplace and wall. I'm 22 and rent a condo, so I don't have much of a choice, lol. I use the fireplace once in a while, but I won't cover it. I'll get exact measurements tomorrow.
I'm a home theater noob, but since I registered here I got real into home theater (I had already been collecting DVD's). I just bought my first RPTV, a Toshiba 57H83! It'll be at my house on Thursday - however... There are 2 places in my front room where I can put the TV. One is directly...
OK, I've been told that before I get a new TV (I want to pick one up this week, an RPTV) I need to make sure it has firewire and DVI ports. So... A. What are they for B. Are they both that important C. Do I need both Any info would be great! Thanks - Jason
I buy used all the time, I've rarely had problems. The only disc I can remember having a problem with was Fatal Attraction, which wouldn't play. I buy from a game store by my house, they sell all used DVD's for 10 bucks, doesn't matter which one. I've gotten Donnie Darko, Aliens OOP, French...
D-VHS will fall, no doubt. I won't support it and most of the people I know won't support it. DVD's look good enough, plus they're on non-deteriorating stock AND they contain extras. Down with D-VHS.
Are you kidding me, all of the releases at my Blockbuster are Fool screen (if given a choice). I went in there during their last PVD sale and there was nothing but Fool screen...I turned around and left. Oh well, nothing beats NETFLIX!!!
