Sorry, this is no receiver, it's a soundcard with each of the 5.1 channels outputted at line level, I haven't got a centre speaker, so I want to mix this line level output into the front l/r outputs and then into the fronts' amp without making the fronts mono. How do you do this? Sorry, that...
How do you do this, without shorting the 2 front inputs together which would obviously make a mono signal? Do you use isolation transformers to split the centre signal? I'm talking about line level here btw
Have you tried playing a CD with your TV unplugged from the mains and with the aerial disconnected? On the hifi in my bedroom, if I turn my TV off, but leave the aerial plugged in, I get random popping noises. This is probably because of my equipment though (a 14" Daewoo TV and old Sony amp...
By 3d, I mean companies keep adding all these channels around the listener in the left/right/front/back directions, but not in the up and down directions. eg. If a plane flies over from behind you, the sound doesn't, it just goes straight through you from front to back. How long will it be...
Thanks for the replies. I was wondering, how easy would it be for me to make my own variable frequency crossover. It could have left/right inputs/outputs and a single subwoofer output, all at line level. Does anyone have any circuit diagrams for this? Thanks
I have been thinking about a Paradigm PDR series sub. From pictures on the internet, it looks like they have speaker level inputs, but not outputs. Surely this means all the low bass signals are still being sent to the main speakers as well. When using the speaker level inputs is this level...
