    Bose wins again!!!

I would be careful with the word "unintelligent". I know that you probably meant ignorant, but thought I would just throw that in:) As they say, ignorance is bliss though. So, I say do as Dave suggests and leave them in bliss. Since I know better it kinda sucks that I have to work so much...

    subwoofer humming

Then there's ye ole cheater plug(three prongs to two). Some don't like this option due to the removal of the ground, but it is the cheapest suggestion. I would consider it the cheapest way to check and see if you have a ground loop problem. Then you can go out and buy a salution for your...

Do you plug your precious subwoofer straight into the wall outlet?

I don't have much time, but to answer this in a very short way(if needed I will go a little further). It doesn't take long for your 110v equipment to burn up when 220v is put to it. Whether its grounded or not that is excatly what is on your equipment for the fraction of a second this occurs...

Do you plug your precious subwoofer straight into the wall outlet?

Recomendations for Fronts in the $600 range?

Ahh somebody figured out what I was up to in my suggestion:D Give them variation! As far as what the Rockets sound like goes. I can see where both of you are coming from. The rs750 is voiced differently from the rest of the line and the rs150 has a different tweeter. Now if I were to...

Recomendations for Fronts in the $600 range?

Wow, what great suggestions. I'll second the Energy suggestion and throw Rockets into the mix with the rs250 being $699/pair and the rs150 399/pair. Taste will be your biggest factor as I am of the opinion that you cannot go wrong with any of the suggestions on this thread so far.

Polk LSi15s w/ sub, or Polk LSi25s without a sub?

Kyle, The posts so far have been so on the money that they have reduced what I was originally going to post to a "I'll second what they said" post:D Really, better advice could not have been given:emoji_thumbsup: :emoji_thumbsup:

    Sherbourn 5/1500A vs. Outlaw 755??

I have heard both...and both are very good. But, I bought the Sherbourn. I can think of no reason to warn you off from Sherbourn. On the subject of the Sherbourn cutting off I do have some input. This has only happened when i have my volume at nearly inaudible levels WHEN I have it set to...
