ben harper does a really nice cover of the drugs don't work, i think it's on his live album. it'd be nice if they can pull it off. the verve deserve as much success as any other reunion band, for all the crap they've endured.
yeah, me too...i really miss that feeling, but i live in a 1br apt and i just don't have the space to buy many more cds. once in a while, i'll buy something at a gig or if it's something i love very much, but i am done buying cds for the most part until i can dedicate more space for them.
it's very easy, and i don't even have to go to a store. that's zero effort. that said, tho, i'll probably end up buying it at some point since i have most everything else of theirs. i listened to it at work today and it was better than i thought it might be.
argh man, i used to really love rush. fave album = hemispheres. this track isn't doin it for me right now. i'll probably just d/l the album or just look for a cheap used copy.
eh. i might have been interested in the early nineties, but i don't really care anymore. sting is uninteresting, plus he got up on stage with sean puffy combs (as yee ming mentioned). ugh. and he let puffy remix roxanne some years back, too. blech. he's almost as obnoxious as bono.
16. Replacement Lead Singers AC/DC’s impressive recovery from Singer-Vomit-Asphyxiation is the exception that proves the rule. If the phrase “Van Hagar” fails to convince, consider Rock Star: INXS and the macabre spectacle of Queen fronted by a leatherfaced Paul Rodgers. love it...
"beg scream and shout: the big ol box of 60s soul" and "girl group sounds lost and found: one kiss can lead to another". the jam box is really great. don't bother with the style council one, tho, unless, of course, you're a fan. well, i didn't like it as much as i thought i might.
