I'm looking for a tabletop home theater projecter to be used with a HTPC. I don't wanna put a hole in my celling. I'm hoping that it will be able to scale HDTV or Progressive DVD's nicely. I've been looking at the infocus X1, the Sharp Z1, and the Pana 300. Thanks -Will [email protected]
I own surround sound recievers by pioneer and yamaha, but nothing can touch my H/K 325 that I got from one call refurbished. Though, I really like my high end yamaha, the HK would be your best bet.
I'm looking for a stereo pro-amplifier that I can bridge and through some juice towards a home subwoofer or two. Carver and JBL come to mind. Let me know if you have one for sale or trade. Thanks -Will
Bump for an awesome reciever. It's the best 7.1 value out there in my opinion and it sounds great. I picked up a refurb from onecall.com. Don't let the wattage fool ya, it can bump. I run my computer off this reciever w/ a JBL NSP-1 surround system and a pair of n26's.
Ya, there is a huge size difference between the n-26 and the n-24. I've got 4 n-24's, 2 n-26's, and 1 n-center or I would take them off your hands. Great speakers though!
I've got a AVR-325 from Onecall. It was a refurb but I swear it is new. Best 399 I've ever spent. I can't answer those questions, but if you call harman kardon, they can. Their tech people are really helpful and speak english well. It's decoded 96 DTS signals from my computer (SB Audigy) so I...
Well, today I got my jbl n26 speakers and my HK AVR-325 receiver. It's a beauty and when I hook everything up it plays clear as a bell in stereo. Now when I hook my computers digital pcm bitstream (from SB audigy) or a dvd player (coaxial & optical) it only plays in stereo mode. It never tells...
Phil's the man with the plan. He is totally right about those JBL speakers. If you want them even cheaper look for "harmanaudio" on ebay. THat's the factory selling the NSP1 with no reserve. These speakers rock. I've got: 2x n26 Left/Right 1x Ncenter 4x n24 Surrounds I'm running them off...
Well, It's going to go at the foot of a twin bed. I don't have any real conception of how big 7.5 CF is, but that sounds rather large. How large is that? Do you guys have any links to a site that shows how to build a ported enclosure? I've been in contact with Kyle at www.acoustic-visions.com...
It's going to be at the foot of my bed. I have a trunk there now. Whichever you guys tell me, I'll try to make (or have someone make for me if its really complex). Is ported circles and vented squares?
Well, I have a e15k and a 380w amp, now what do I do with it? Build a sealed or ported box? You guys are math wizards, so I would appreciate your expertise. I plugged the T/S params into winisd and got those graphs you guys have for the e15k. Now I just don't know what to do. The elemental site...
This is my next HT subwoofer. I'm sticking a 350W rythmik plate amp on it. The E15k by elemental designs audio. I've got two E10k's in my car and I think they have better construction, SQ, and SPL than the tempest. Also, they require a smaller box. http://www.edesignaudio.com/ep/kseries.htm...
