I'd like to see: The Music Lovers Valentino The Return of Count Yorga The Vampire (1957) The Return of Dracula Vampire and the Ballerina The Blood on Satan's Claw Diary of a Madman Sabata trilogy Incredible Two Headed Transplant (Bruce Dern) The Savage Seven
Very good reviews. CRY OF THE BANSHEE and MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE look especially good, as does THE TRIP and PSYCH-OUT. Now I can't wait for August! I hope MGM does INCREDIBLE TWO-HEADED TRANSPLANT (which was shown on cable recently), RETURN OF COUNT YORGA and BLOOD AND LACE.
I agree about the "Best of Bowie" DVD. I find the early part of his career fascinating, and I have watched only the first disc several times. You can't beat Ziggy Stardust with an eyepatch singing "Rebel Rebel" on foreign TV. I am going to pick up the Ziggy concert film DVD soon, as I got rid of...
I emailed DVD Drive-In, and he told me that HOUSE OF WAX will be full screen on DVD, while the other August 5 titles will be in their original aspect ratios and anamorphic.
I fear these will never come out: BAD TIMING EL TOPO and THE HOLY MOUNTAIN TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA (longer Europeon version) DEEP END (early 70s film) THE PHYNX
I can't believe all the TV shows coming to DVD, and still no Kolchak! Come on Universal, 20 episodes of a cult classic is not too much to ask for is it????
I love this, being a big SCTV fan. I especially like the spoofs of the dubbed kung fu movie and of 50s sitcoms. Out of print to long and needed on dvd!

What's bad now too is that the next feature film disc, "The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze", doesn't even have a bonus short! I want all the shorts, the Shemps, the Joe Bessers, the inferior Curly remakes, and the DeRita features. It's just going too slow for me! And where are...

I had heard that Susan Hart owns I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN, I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF and some others and was holding out for mucho dinero. I do hope that AMC plans on releasing what they own to an American DVD audience. Hell, these are American films!
"A little disappointed in not seeing Burn, Witch, Burn, The Quatermass Xperiment or Blood on Satan's Claw on the list." I totally agree Jay, but I hope by next year of the end of this year. Would also love to see The Crimson Cult, Return of Dracula, Sugar Hill ('74 version) both Blacula...

Isn't the original aspect ratio on these 1.85:1? I thought that became the standard even in England. FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED and TASTE THE BLOOD I both saw in 1970 in the theater, and they seem to be 1.85:1.
I don't know if it's been mentioned here before, but does anyone know if Warner has any plans to release their other Hammer films on DVD? They own DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED, TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, MOON ZERO TWO, WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH and...
