Well I find it works well. However I am not running a HD setup. I believe you can find some info on this if you do a search. You could always just use it for the gaming machines as it really wont matter much. It does come with a power cable that you plug into an outlet.
I purchased that Monster THX sub cable for $20 at CC. Ended up bringing it back and buying the Acoustic Research Pro II sub cable from another store. IMHO the AR pro cable is definately a step up from the new THX series Monster cables. More inline with the higher end Monster cables. The best...
I believe its Oct 02 or later and its fixed. I just bought a 45TX with a mfg. date of Feb 03. It has the update. Check with the dealer your buying it from for the mfg date. You will definately be safe with an 03 model which should be the case if your ordering it now.
I was wondering now that the flagship HK AVR-8000 is the same price as the Denon AVR-3803 ($1199 from authorized dealer) would the HK be a better choice? I was also thinking about the HK AVR-525 or Marantz SR7300. The speakers I will be using the receiver for would be Paradigm Studio 60's up...
