That's unfortunate. Of course, Artisan was supposed to stop shipping those God-awful "limited edition" metal torture racks about six months ago, too. Nimrods.
Don't worry, Michael. For the most part, we fully realize that we complain about these things because we usually have nothing more important to complain about, and that's generally a good thing. :)
Well, but I did like the artwork of the tin (both front and back) much more than I like the art of the actual case, and would like that artwork in a practical form, and I do feel a LITTLE cheated that in supporting their product right away I'm being jobbed out of that, but c'est la vie. Maybe...
I just looked at both of mine, and I honestly cannot tell a difference between the one I was sent with my replacement case and the one I originally bought.
Wow, if that's the case, then I will be pretty pissed, because I specifically requested a case and a slipcover, and all I got (along with many other people) was a replacement case. Now, mind you, that didn't bother me so long as that was how they were gonna treat EVERYONE, but if there was a...
I finally received my case today, after emailing them on June 8th. (To be fair, it may have arrived over the weekend - I hadn't checked my mail for a couple days.) But it seems like my turnaround was about five weeks.
Well, that would explain the holdup. Three weeks for me and still nothing yet. Those of you who did get their replacements: did they ship in a box or a padded envelope, and how big was it? I live in an apartment complex, and I'm trying to figure out if this will fit in my mailbox or if it's...
That would be nice, but I also see where it would be prohibitively expensive, especially for something that was supposed to be a limited-run extra anyhow. I would imagine, if they were going to pack ALL of the DVDs like that, forever and ever, they might do something like that. Frankly, if...
I agree, it should, and I suspect eventually it will. I get the feeling that Artisan's very much not used to having to do this (which is probably a good thing), and they're feeling it out as they go along. And all of that considered I think they're doing an okay job. They won my full support...
Oh yeah, mine is twisted all to heck. I specifically went through the bins at Costco and tried to select one that looked like it was in good shape, too, but I dunno if I just picked out a bent one, or if it got bent in the cart (tho I didn't pile anything heavy on it), or if it got manhandled...
So was the standard turnaround time on this for most folks about 8 days? We're headed up on two weeks for me and I still haven't gotten anything yet...I'm wondering if I should call them or email them again....
Hi again! I thought I'd bump this to see if anyone else had gotten their DVD's from this deal yet...it's been three weeks plus since I posted (and now going on 12 weeks since I sent out the materials) and I still don't have mine. Also, I found the following numbers for Colombia-Tristar Home...
Wow! Well, I'm glad yours did arrive :) I've been watching for the check to clear, and haven't seen anything yet. Do you remember when you sent your stuff in?
Hi folks! In the Spiderman Special Edition DVD (and presumably in other Columbia/Tristar releases around that same time) there was a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal, you would buy a DVD on their list, and you could send in the appropriate items and $2.95 S/H and they would send you another DVD of your...
Hi folks! I'm new, so if there is a more appropriate place to post this message, please say so. I looked over all of the forums and couldn't find a better-specialized one. In the Spiderman Special Edition DVD (and presumably in other Columbia/Tristar releases around that same time) there was...
