The Perfect Storm has to the be worst film I can remember seeing. I had to actually force myself to sit through the thing, all the time saying, "something has to happen soon, this HAS to get better..." IT DIDN'T I have purchased some bad films, but this one is destined to be the dust collector...
Well, you guys talked me into trying to pre-order. I ordered TTT from amazon. Spent more, and took longer to get. I would have been better off to bought it locally. Would have been cheaper, and I could have watched it sooner. Oh, well, so much for trying something new. :frowning:
Just now got back to work after a crown this morning. It's my 3rd or 4th. This one was a bicuspid, the others were molars, all with root canals. It really wasn't painful at all. I used the meds they gave me to help me sleep the first night after the root canal last week. The crown today took...
I've never really understood the "pre-order" concept. It's not going to be in short supply, why tie up your cash for 5 months, just wait till it's released and run out and get it. Seems pretty simple to me.. Maybe someone can enlighten me to the logic of pre-ordering.
hmmm.. I never made any specific feedings for my clown loaches in particular, I usually just fed flaked food 80% of the time, with frozen brine shrimp, glass worms, and tubifex making up the balance. They seemed to thrive just fine!
The aspect ratio on a 16:9 tv is 1.77, the aspect ratio on (Star Wars) episode II is 2.35 so there will be black bars present. usually a 1.85 ratio will show with no black bars due to overscan, so if you buy a dvd with 1.85 aspect ratio it should fill the screen if your overscan is set correctly.
No, absolutely no problems at all. Sounds like you got some old ones. Usually adhesive does that when it gets too old. I've had sheets of old plexiglass that was impossible to get the protective paper off of.
Chris, yes, that is exactly what I was talking about, except the ones I used had a peel and stick adhesive on the back. Instead of screws, you could use double stick tape with these.
I agree with DaveH, buy it.. You'll need to use it every month or so anyway. Why keep renting it over and over? I use mine quite often. You'll also be more prone to doing routine maintenance if you have it on hand rather than having to go to the video store and rent it.
